One environmental issue that needs significant attention is the handling of plastic garbage, particularly in places with inadequate waste management infrastructure. By turning plastic garbage into ecobricks, this community service project seeks to create a useful and instructive garden gate in Jorong Lumbaru, Nagari Tanjung, Koto VII Sub-district, Sijunjung District, West Sumatra. With 30 people taking part in the process of gathering plastic debris and creating ecobricks, the local community is the activity's target audience. Planning, preparation, socialization, implementation/practice, and assessment are the five phases that make up the implementation technique. Plastic garbage was gathered and observations were made during the planning and preparation phases. Students taught the community how to manufacture ecobricks and the risks associated with plastic trash during the socialization phase. A garden gate was constructed using ecobricks during the implementation phase. Reflecting on how the activity affected community understanding of plastic trash management was part of the evaluation stage. The activity's outcomes demonstrated the development of ecologically friendly and instructive infrastructure as well as a greater understanding of the significance of managing plastic trash in the community.
