Abstract

Thesis writing to the publication of quality scientific papers has its own difficulties for undergraduate students, especially for those in the final semester. This difficulty is evidenced in the results of a pre-survey conducted at the beginning of the activity before this training started, based on these results it was found that many students experienced difficulties in several very important aspects, such as students having difficulty in determining interesting topics, writing proposals and even compiling a thesis as a whole students looked confused. To overcome this problem, thesis writing to quality publications was held which aims to improve thesis writing skills to publications for students, especially final semester students. The method carried out in this activity is to deliver material online and directly, and is accompanied by intensive assistance to students starting from the process of determining interesting topics, writing research proposals to assisting the publication stage of scientific papers. After training and mentoring, a survey was conducted again to the participants to find out the participants' understanding, this training obtained an average score of 83,8% of participants who already understood very well after participating in the training. This training on thesis writing to quality publications is a very impactful activity and recommended for students because this activity provides practical and theoretical provisions to help students be better prepared to prepare thesis and scientific publications effectively.
