Peningkatan Pengetahuan ibu Melalui Edukasi Imunisasi Dasar Lengkap di Gampong Paya Seumantok Kecamatan Krueng Sabee

Abstract

Complete basic immunization coverage in Paya Seumantok Village, Aceh, remains low due to misinformation and misunderstandings among the community. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge of mothers with infants and toddlers regarding immunization. The methods used were door-to-door outreach, mass education, and distribution of leaflets and banners, with evaluation using pre- and post-tests. The results showed an increase in participant knowledge from 62% in the pre-test to 83% in the post-test, a 21% increase. Community attitudes also became more positive towards the immunization program. The benefit of this activity is to increase public understanding and awareness of the importance of complete basic immunization, which is expected to support increased immunization coverage in the region.
