MSME rattan artisans in Keude Bieng Village, Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar Regency, continue to face constraints in business financial management and in leveraging digital technology for marketing purposes. These challenges were identified through an initial field-based survey and direct observation of partners’ actual conditions, which revealed weak financial record-keeping practices, the absence of clear separation between household and business finances, and limited use of digital platforms to support product sales. This community service program aimed to enhance the financial and digital capacities of MSMEs in order to promote business independence and sustainability. The program involved 34 rattan artisan entrepreneurs and was implemented through five stages: partner needs identification, training material design, training implementation, evaluation, and the formulation of follow-up actions. The methods employed included lectures, interactive discussions, and the sharing of practical experiences. The results indicate a notable improvement in participants’ understanding and skills related to basic financial record-keeping, the separation of business and household finances, and the utilization of social media and e-commerce platforms for marketing, with 68% of participants meeting the evaluation criteria satisfactorily. Overall, this program generated positive impacts by strengthening partners’ business capacities, with the potential to improve financial management efficiency, expand market access, and enhance the economic sustainability of rattan artisan MSMEs at the local level.
