Abstract

Local tourist attractions can have a positive impact on the communities surrounding the tourist sites. Therefore, professional management of tourist destinations is needed by improving the quality of managers and owners of regional tourist facilities and infrastructure. Accommodation business operators do not yet understand and know how to prepare and manage their business finances properly. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to provide training on preparing simple financial reports for accommodation business operators. The training was held on September 9-10, 2023, in Jorong Limpato Harau, West Sumatra. The material presented was about preparing simple financial reports. The methods used included lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice in creating business financial reports. The training was attended by 11 accommodation business owners who were unfamiliar with financial reporting. After the training, the accommodation business owners understood, knew, and were able to create business financial reports properly and correctly.
